Your Legacy can make a Lasting Difference

Each year, approximately £1 in every £5 of RDA UK’s charitable income comes generous individuals who choose to remember us in their wills.

These gifts are vital in helping us continue to enrich lives through the unique bond between people and horses. They enable us to support over 25,000 disabled children and adults annually, offering life-changing activities such as riding, carriage driving, and equine-assisted programmes like Quiet Corners and Tea with a Pony.
At RDA, we are dedicated to empowering disabled people through the joy and benefits of therapeutic equine activities. With your support, we can continue providing life-changing opportunities for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. One of the most powerful ways you can make a lasting impact is by leaving a gift in your will.

Why Leave a Gift to RDA?

A gift in your will is a meaningful way to support the future of RDA and help us continue our vital work. Your contribution will ensure that future generations benefit from the transformative power of therapeutic equine activities. Whether large or small, every gift plays a significant role in helping us create opportunities for disabled people to experience the life-changing benefits of RDA.

  • Fund Equipment and Resources: Ensure that we can provide vital training and ongoing support to our volunteers, equip our RDA coaches with training needed to deliver engaging, therapeutic sessions to support our participants, safe riding gear, and facilities for all participants.
  • Create Lasting Impact: Contribute to the long-term sustainability of our programmes, allowing us to continue enrich lives for years to come.

Types of Gifts You Can Leave

Even a 1% gift in your will could make a huge difference to RDA UK. And it is so easy to do.

We are grateful for all gifts, no matter their size. When considering a gift to RDA, you can choose from several options:

A Residuary Gift: A percentage of your estate after all other gifts have been distributed. This is a great option if you want to leave a lasting legacy, as it grows with your estate.

A Pecuniary Gift: A fixed sum of money that you decide on.

A Specific Gift: A particular item, such as a horse or piece of equipment, that will directly benefit RDA programmes.

You can also choose to leave a gift in memory of a loved one, which would help honour their life while supporting a cause that means something special to you and your family.
