Why Leave a Gift to RDA?

I was so happy to find out that Iris had left a gift in her Will to RDA UK. From the day she joined our family in the mid-1950s she worked tirelessly to support my mother Mollie in every way, including bringing the joy of ponies and riding to all. No condition or disability was an obstacle! Without Iris’s consistent help, Mollie would not have been able to set up so many RDA groups across south-west England in the 1970s – many of which are still running today. This gift has brought back many happy memories of them and the riders in both pre and early RDA days! Thank you Iris.
How your gift helps
Recent gifts have enabled us to:
- Launch new non-ridden equine-assisted services, allowing participants to experience the therapeutic benefits of horses in diverse ways.
- Strengthen our equine welfare programme, ensuring the health and well-being of our horses remains central to everything we do.
- Support the RDA UK National Championships, where the RDA community unites annually to celebrate achievements and forge lifelong friendships.
Additionally, several RDA groups have recently received generous gifts, which have enabled them to enhance their facilities for participants and invest in new equines and equipment.
