Corporate volunteering with RDA UK at the National Training Centre offers companies and their employees a meaningful way to support our mission of transforming lives through horse assisted activities and learning. Volunteering days will take your team out of the office on to our working equestrian centre helping with various projects and activities.
We welcome corporate teams of different sizes to contribute their time, energy and skills to activities that strengthen community, promote wellbeing and create lasting impact.

Volunteer at RDA National Training Centre
Corporate Team Days can be designed around your needs, typically full- or half-day sessions for up to 20 people. Activities could include tack cleaning, fence painting, gardening, ditch clearance, levelling arena surfaces, seasonal cleaning and maintenance, with time to meet the horses and learn about our work.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Yard Maintenance: Assist in keeping our equestrian facilities and stables clean and well-maintained, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for both our horses and participants.

Equipment Organisation: Help sort, clean, and organise tack and other equipment, ensuring everything is in top condition for both the equines and participants.

Equine Care & Engagement: Spend quality time with our horses, offering grooming and care, while learning about the life-changing work they do. Meet our equine heroes and gain insight into their vital roles in supporting the community.

DIY SOS Week of Volunteering
We were thrilled to host the JLR team at the RDA National Training Centre for a memorable corporate team day as part of their DIY SOS Week of Volunteering. Over the course of the week, 36 volunteers from JLR worked tirelessly to help transform Charlie’s House, the home of our RDA mechanical horse. This space is crucial in supporting riders of all abilities with our life-changing therapeutic equipment.
The JLR team’s hard work and dedication created a warm and inviting environment that enhances the overall experience for our participants.
