On 15th April, we experienced a truly special moment at RDA as we welcomed ITV for a filming session that aired later that evening on ITV Central.

The feature highlighted the life-changing impact of our work, focusing on our wonderful pony Aimee, participant Maddy, and her mum, Rachel. Seeing Maddy’s confidence and joy shine through on screen was a powerful reminder of the difference our sessions make every day.

Aimee was, as always, an absolute star, beautifully demonstrating the unique bond between our horses and participants, and the positive impact that connection can have. Moments like these capture what makes RDA so unique: the partnership between horse and rider, and the confidence, independence and happiness it helps to build.

We’re incredibly grateful to ITV Central for helping us raise awareness of RDA and for sharing these important stories with a wider audience. Opportunities like this allow us to shine a light on the importance of our work and the experiences of the participants and families we support.
