RDA returns as Official Charity Partner of Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials 2026, driving greater access and wellbeing through horses.

Too many children and adults are held back by everyday barriers that prevent them from being active, leading to social isolation, poorer health, and reduced wellbeing. Demand for inclusive, life-changing activities has never been higher: nearly 4,000 people are on RDA’s (Riding for the Disabled Association) waiting lists, and 71% of local groups cannot meet demand.

To help meet this growing need, the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials is once again stepping up, raising vital funds and awareness for RDA ahead of the 2026 event, taking place from 17–20 September. This charity partnership marks the ground-breaking milestone of a second consecutive year, reflecting a shared belief in the power of horses to change lives and the lasting impact of collaboration.

RDA helps 39,000 people each year gain confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging. Through riding, carriage driving, and equine-assisted activities, participants improve physical health, strengthen mental wellbeing, and develop meaningful social connections.

The charity’s impact is clear:

· 90% of participants feel more confident and independent

· 82% feel more connected to others

· 88% experience improved posture, balance, and coordination

· 80% of parents and carers say these changes would not have happened without RDA

RDA CEO Michael Bishop said:

RDA delivers this support through 13,700 volunteers, 1,700 qualified coaches, 2,800 horses, and over 450 groups and approved centres nationwide, enabling thousands to take part in meaningful, inclusive activities every year.
