The RDA is excited to announce a brand-new addition to this year’s RDA National Championships programme, an outdoor cinema screening of The Greatest Showman at Hartpury House, Gloucester.

Taking place on Friday 10th July 2026, the event will bring together the RDA community, local supporters, families, and members of the public for a fun-filled summer evening under the stars, while raising money to support RDA’s life-changing work across the UK.

The RDA National Championships are one of the highlights of the RDA calendar, celebrating the achievements of disabled participants from across the country. Held annually at Hartpury University and Hartpury House, the Championships welcome hundreds of competitors, volunteers, coaches, and supporters for several days of competition, community, and celebration.

This year, organisers are expanding the event experience with the addition of an outdoor cinema night, creating an opportunity for both the RDA community and the wider public to come together and enjoy a memorable evening during Championships week.

Guests can expect a spectacular screening of the hit musical The Greatest Showman, complete with iconic songs, singalongs, and a festival-style atmosphere in the beautiful grounds of Hartpury House.

Gates open at 6PM, with the film beginning at 7PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, camping chairs, or beanbags and settle in for an evening of entertainment. Fancy dress is also welcome, with guests invited to embrace “Ringmaster chic” or simply enjoy a relaxed summer evening outdoors.

The event is fully accessible, with subtitles included during the screening, and food and snacks will be available on-site.

Ticket options include child, adult, family, accessible, VIP, volunteer, and companion tickets, helping ensure the event is open and welcoming to as many people as possible.

Organisers hope the event will be a fantastic new addition to the National Championships and are encouraging supporters to share the event widely.
